Google Enters the Thermosphere

Welcome to the first blog brought to you from space!  Not quite, but after today’s confirmation, we’re well on our way. A little startup company called Google has recently decided to invest $1 billion into SpaceX, bringing its valuation to $10 billion. For those of you not familiar with SpaceX, it was founded by Elon Musk, co-founder of PayPal and Tesla Motors, with the ultimate goal of enabling people to live on Mars. In the meantime, they’ve been working with NASA to launch satellites.
